Someone bought her on Etsy a few weeks after I had launched the business back in 2019. I remember taking a nap, waking up to the sale and being SHOCKED and also freaked out because the person was in LA and I had absolutely no idea how to ship furniture. 😭 But, what better way to learn! ⁣

I also remember that the person who bought it used an alias and the shipping address was a UPS store (bc they wanted to hide their physical address). Soooo I like to pretend it was someone famous. Who do we think it was??? My vote: Steven Tyler 🤩👄

In case you missed the announcement that I will be at the @anniesloanhome BIG PAINT this October in Austin, TX - we had a call recently discussing what each of us will be presenting and I was very excited to learn that I’ll be demonstrating how to achieve a Gothic Victorian look using gilding waxes! ✨🥀 ⁣

Gilding is a topic I am asked about often so it will be fun to be able to actually SHOW you in person as well as answer any questions about my technique. 🎨 ⁣

In addition to gilding I will also be discussing the importance of branding and staging your work to be unmistakably YOU. This is also a topic I am passionate about and well versed in, having spent the last decade as a graphic / web designer and branding expert for other businesses.
