There was a fascinating article posted yesterday about Victorian Era physician Victor Burq and his research on the anti-microbial properties of copper and it’s alloys. ? In the mid 1800s, people who worked with copper (i.e. jewelers, boilermakers, goldsmiths) were able to avoid the Cholera epidemics without even trying!
Yet another reason we ? making our copper candelabras!
