Believe it or not, this little bathroom used to be my least favorite room in the house! The goal was to transform it with $300 and it…..actually….. happened.
Here’s how:
1. WALL PAINT: The upper half of the accent wall is Farrow & Ball Off Black. The lower half is a herringbone subway tile stencil by Royal Design Stencils which was no joke. This took A LOT of time and detail work. I almost didn’t make it. (But it was my first time stenciling, so that contributed to the agony.) The rest of the walls are Farrow & Ball Clunch which might be my new favorite neutral. For a project this small, it’s not necessary to splurge on the real thing, so just go to Sherwin Williams and ask them to color match! $40 for 2 quarts
2. VANITY PAINT: Annie Sloan custom mix of Amsterdam Green and Napoleonic Blue chalk paint and clear wax to finish.
(I already had everything I needed for this part, otherwise I would have spent a little more!) If you’re in Pittsburgh and you need some, go check out The Backdoor Furnishings in Wexford!
3. ACCESSORIES:
$70 brass circle mirror from Target
$30 shelves from World Market
$80 vanity light from Lighting New York
$50 vintage turkish rug from Etsy.
My new favorite spot. Check out the before and after!
